About the role

Somerset Animal Hospital is seeking a Vet Tech Extern to gain hands-on experience under the supervision of our experienced veterinarians and veterinary technicians.

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine medical procedures
• Administer medications and treatments
• Assist with patient care and monitoring
• Prepare patients for examinations and surgeries
• Handle administrative tasks as needed

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Veterinary Technician School

Qualifications

• Strong interest in veterinary medicine
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
