Looking for an Overnight ER Team That Invests in You? Newton Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced Level III Veterinary Technician to join our overnight emergency team. Responsibilities

• Triage and assess emergency patients
• Maintain accurate medical records
• Monitor hospitalized and critical care patients
• Administer medications and treatments
• Perform venipuncture and IV catheter placement
• Monitor anesthesia during surgical and dental procedures
• Auxiliary in emergency surgeries and procedures
• Provide exceptional nursing care
• Perform laboratory diagnostics and imaging
• Communicate with doctors and pet owners regarding patient care

Requirements

• Previous emergency, specialty, or advanced general practice experience
• Confident working independently while collaborating with a team
• Enjoys fast-paced, hands-on medicine
• Excellent technical and nursing skills
• Communicates professionally with teammates and clients
• Passionate about patient care and continuous learning

Qualifications

• New Jersey Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT)
• Associate degree in Veterinary Technology
• Previous emergency or specialty hospital experience

Skills

• Experience in emergency and critical care
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Proficiency in veterinary medical equipment

Pay

$24.00–$32.00/hour Compensation is based on experience, technical skillset, and technician level. Licensed New Jersey CVTs earn 25% above the posted wage ranges. Overnight shift differential applied to hours worked between 12:00am and 7:00am
