Responsibilities
- Provide high-standard patient care, including restraint, venipuncture, IV catheter placement, NG tubes, and Nasal Cannulas.
- Assist with CPR and utilize clinical software such as EzyVet and Smartflow.
- Collaborate with the veterinary team to deliver quality care and contribute valuable input.
- Knowledge of veterinary instruments, sterilization techniques, and standardized procedures for treatments.
- Assess client needs, ensure quality service standards, and evaluate client satisfaction.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a busy hospital, focusing on nursing care.
- Associates degree in Veterinary Technology is a plus.
- CVT license is a plus (additional compensation provided for CVT).
- Proficiency in phlebotomy and knowledge of veterinary instruments, materials, and equipment.
- Understanding of sterilization techniques and preparation for a variety of treatments.
- Strong communication skills, including knowledge of English language principles.
- Ability to work independently and accept direction on assigned tasks.
- Must be 18 years or older.
Schedule
Full-Time Overnight position: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday - 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Pay
$22.50 - $30.00 per hour, depending on experience, plus a $5.00/hr overnight shift differential.
