About You

• Experience with restraint, venipuncture, IV catheter placement, basic medical math, anesthesia induction and recovery.
• Already comfortable with the art of triage and the variety that emergency medicine brings.
• Enjoy the adrenaline rush of emergency medicine.
• Strong communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Anticipated Schedule

This is a full-time position: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday - 10pm-10am. Holidays are required.

Requirements

• Associates in Veterinary Technology is a plus.
• CVT license is a plus.
• Knowledge with Anesthesia and monitoring.
• Phlebotomy Knowledge.
• Knowledge of the procedures used for scheduling patients, receiving, treating, ordering medical supplies, and requesting laboratory tests.
• Knowledge of the use, care, and storage of veterinary instruments, materials, and equipment.
• Knowledge of sterilization techniques to sterilize various instruments and materials.
• Knowledge of the instruments, materials, and standardized procedures used in the full variety of treatments to prepare and provide tableside assistance.
• Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments.
• Must be 18 years or older to apply.
