Responsibilities
- Aid veterinarians in oncology procedures and treatments
- Administer chemotherapy
- Provide compassionate care and support to both patients and their owners
- Conduct diagnostic tests and prepare samples for analysis
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with protocols
- Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams
- Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture
Requirements
- High school diploma
- 3+ years of clinical experience in the veterinary industry; RVT license preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interface with staff and clients
- Consistent and reliable ability to perform mathematical calculations
- Maintain the California Veterinary Assistant Controlled Substance Permit (VACSP), obtained within 60 days of hire or transfer into this role (waived if you hold a valid CA-RVT license)

Pay
RVT: $30–$40/hr
Senior Veterinary Assistant: $26–$34/hr
Up to $2,000 Sign-On Bonus available for qualified applicants!
Schedule
Full-time, with flexibility for scheduling Monday–Friday.
