Veterinary Technician, Oncology

You will be the "right hand" to our veterinarians on staff, helping maintain the highest level of care and comfort for our clients' beloved pets. Responsibilities

• Aid veterinarians in oncology procedures and treatments
• Administer chemotherapy
• Provide compassionate care and support to both patients and their owners
• Conduct diagnostic tests and prepare samples for analysis
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with protocols
• Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture

Requirements

• High school diploma
• 3+ years of clinical experience in the veterinary industry; RVT license preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interface with staff and clients
• Consistent and reliable ability to perform mathematical calculations
• Maintain the California Veterinary Assistant Controlled Substance Permit (VACSP), obtained within 60 days of hire or transfer into this role (waived if you hold a valid CA-RVT license)

Pay

RVT: $30–$40/hr
Senior Veterinary Assistant: $26–$34/hr
Up to $2,000 Sign-On Bonus available for qualified applicants!

Schedule

Full-time, with flexibility for scheduling Monday–Friday.
