Veterinary Technician-- NO Weekend Shifts

Responsibilities

• Take radiographs with proper positioning
• Perform clinical laboratory procedures
• Administer medications and draw blood
• Use humane restraint techniques in a variety of situations
• Assist primary care veterinarians in the exam room and on the treatment floor

Requirements

• Must love animals and care about people
• Preferred: CVT graduate (AVMA-accredited program) or equivalent veterinary technician/assistant experience
• Ability to take radiographs with proper positioning
• Ability to perform clinical laboratory procedures
• Ability to administer medications and draw blood
• Ability to use humane restraint techniques in a variety of situations
• Experience working as a veterinary technician in an established practice
• Excellent interpersonal skills and strong attention to detail
• Eagerness to learn, show initiative, and understand vaccine protocols
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
