What You'll Do
- Monitor anesthesia during MRI procedures and neurosurgical cases
- Perform venipuncture, blood collection, laboratory sample collection, and IV catheter placement
- Admit and discharge neurology and surgical patients
- Administer medications as directed by veterinarians
- Prepare treatment plans and client estimates
- Collect payments and support the discharge process
- Assist with neurology consultations, outpatient appointments, and rechecks
- Perform anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery
- Perform endotracheal intubation
- Scrub into neurosurgical procedures
- Prepare and maintain sterile surgical environments
- Calculate and administer medications (IV, IM, SQ)
- Deliver compassionate, professional client communication
- Maintain accurate medical records
What We're Looking For
- Minimum Qualifications:
- Registered, Certified, or Licensed Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, or LVT), or eligible for Colorado registration
- Minimum 2 years of veterinary technician experience in surgery
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced specialty hospital
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Emergency or Specialty Veterinary Hospital experience
- MRI or CT anesthesia experience
- Advanced anesthesia monitoring experience
- Experience with electronic medical records
- Ability to anticipate patient and department needs while managing multiple priorities

- Compensation: $25–$35/hour (based on experience)
- $3,000 Sign-On Bonus
- Relocation Bonus available for qualified Veterinary Technicians relocating to the Parker, CO area
