About the role

At Home Animal Hospital is growing its team and seeking an experienced, licensed veterinary technician who excels in dentistry and is eager to further develop their skills. Strong experience with dental radiographs and cleanings is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
• Knowledge of preventative care and vaccines
• Attentive induction, monitoring, and recovery of surgical patients
• Emergency and surgical care - including IV catheter placement and intubation
• Obtaining diagnostics - including radiographs, phlebotomy, and sample collection, and performing in-house lab work
• Professional, compassionate communication with clients and staff
• Succinct documentation of patient records and client interactions

Requirements

• Current license to practice veterinary technology in the state of Hawaii
• Strong experience with dental radiographs and cleanings
• Outgoing, friendly personality
• Dedication to patient care
• Desire to be a team player

Qualifications

• Experience in small animal practice
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to manage time and multitask in a dynamic environment
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
