About The Role
The role involves serving as an extension of our Internists, working as a team to enhance patient and client care. Responsibilities include active client communication, diagnostic and procedural organization, and assisting in short- and long-term patient management. The ideal candidate has a basic understanding of Internal Medicine diseases and a passion for learning.
- Assist in diagnostic procedures such as endoscopy (urinary, respiratory, gastrointestinal), bone marrow sampling, joint taps, and feeding tube placements.
Responsibilities
- Communicate diagnostic results and procedures to clients as directed by the Internist.
- Organize and facilitate diagnostic and procedural workflows.
- Assist in the management of Internal Medicine patients.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure exceptional patient care.
- Provide empathetic, high-quality nursing care to patients and their owners.
- Maintain a positive outlook in a highly collaborative environment.
- Develop long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and the community.
Requirements
- Experience working as a Registered Veterinary Technician.
- Experience with anesthesia.
- Knowledge of disease processes and common ailments.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and client service skills.
- Honesty, integrity, and a desire to learn.
Endoscopy experience is preferred but not required.

Pay
Salary: $33.00 - $36.00 per hour, dependent on experience. Sign-on bonus of $3,000 for licensed technicians.
Schedule
Wednesday through Saturday, 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM.
