About the role

Healthy Tails Mobile Clinic is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to our animal patients and support the veterinary staff.

Responsibilities

• Administering medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
• Assisting with surgical procedures under supervision
• Collecting and processing laboratory samples
• Handling administrative tasks such as charting and billing
• Providing patient care including routine check-ups and wellness exams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Technology or related field
• Valid state license as a Veterinary Technician
• Experience in a veterinary setting preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacology

Skills

• Proficiency in electronic health records systems
• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly
