About the role
Friendship Veterinary Center is seeking a dedicated Technician or Veterinary Assistant to join their growing team. The practice offers general practice services, urgent care, and seamless referrals to 24/7 Hospitalization/ER services within the clinic system.
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians in examinations and treatments
- Administer medications and injections
- Clean and sterilize medical equipment
- Record patient medical histories and treatment progress
- Prepare patients for diagnostic tests
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing inventory
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current certification as a Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant
- Experience in veterinary settings preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

- Proficiency with medical software
- Good organizational and time management skills

Pay
Salary is commensurate with experience.
Schedule
Hours are from 7a to 8p, with shifts ranging from 8, 10, or 12 hours depending on clinic needs. The clinic operates Monday through Friday.
