Veterinary Technician - Equine

About the role

We are seeking two full-time veterinary technicians/assistants to join our growing 5-doctor practice in Wellington, Florida from late October through April and in Dover, New Hampshire from May through mid October. Travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Ambulatory assisting one or all of our doctors
• Typically 40-50 hours per week
• Overtime is compensated
• Assisting veterinarians on calls
• Driving
• Truck inventory management

Requirements

• At least 2 years of prior equine experience, preferably in a sport horse setting
• Possess the ability to lift 50 lbs
• Jog multiple horses a day
• Have a clean driving record
• Willing to undergo a background check and drug testing

• Positive attitude
• Exceptional horse handling skills
