Veterinary Technician-Emergency

About the role

The successful candidate will play an important role in providing end-to-end care for our patients. This role requires overnight, weekend, and holiday availability.

Responsibilities

• Triage and stabilize emergency and critical patients
• Aid in emergency exams, treatments, and procedures
• Monitor hospitalized patients (vitals, pain levels, condition changes)
• Perform diagnostics including lab work and radiographs
• Place IV catheters, administer fluids, medications, and oxygen therapy
• Maintain accurate medical records
• Support clients with empathy during high-stress situations

Requirements

• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT/CVT/RVT) preferred
• Experience in ER, ICU, or emergency settings a plus
• Strong multitasking and communication skills
• Ability to work overnights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to lift and restrain animals safely

Pay

$18-25/hour, with compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience.
