About the role
Veterinary Technician (CVT or LVT) position available at Excelsior Animal Hospital in Excelsior, MN.
Responsibilities
- Care for animals under the supervision of veterinarians
- Administer medications and treatments
- Perform diagnostic tests and procedures
- Assist with surgeries
- Provide patient care and comfort
- Document patient care and treatment
- Communicate with clients about pet care and treatment plans
Requirements
- Current certification as a Veterinary Technician (CVT or LVT)
- Experience in veterinary medicine preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a veterinary technician program
- Knowledge of animal anatomy and physiology
- Basic computer skills
