Veterinary Technician - Credentialed

The Role

Woodlake Animal Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician.

Responsibilities

• Encounter a variety of new cases every day and gain valuable experiences.
• Utilize your skill-set to the highest level and perform a wide range of procedures.
• Draw blood and place catheters.
• Monitor during surgical procedures (assisting where needed).
• Understand vaccines and preventative protocols.
• Communicate well with clients and other team members.

Requirements

• An experienced veterinary technician with a positive attitude.
• A team player who genuinely loves people and their pets.
• Possess the ability to draw blood and place catheters, monitor during surgical procedures (assisting where needed), understand vaccines and preventative protocols, and communicate well.
• Able to draw blood and place catheters, monitor during surgical procedures (assisting where needed), understand vaccines and preventative protocols, and communicate well.
• Love what you do.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a veterinary setting is preferred but not required.
• Passion for learning and caring for animals.
• Team player who is willing to take initiative to jump in and help the team.
• Ability to remain composed in stressful and emotional situations.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Avimark knowledge is a plus (not required).
