About the Role
Position Details
- Role: Experienced or Licensed Veterinary Technician
- Status: Full-time or Part-time
- Schedule: Four-day work week; Monday through Friday; no weekends
Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
- Provide safe and effective patient handling and restraint
- Absorb and assist with examinations, treatments, and procedures
- Monitor anesthesia and support surgical procedures
- Place IV catheters and provide nursing care to hospitalized patients
- Obtain diagnostics including radiographs, blood samples, and laboratory specimens
- Perform in-house laboratory testing
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
- Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients and team members
- Support a positive and collaborative hospital environment
Requirements
What Our Veterinary Technicians Bring
- Veterinary Technician Certification (CVT) or Licensure (LVT) preferred; equivalent experience considered
