About the role
Peach Orchard Veterinary Clinic is searching for an experienced Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant to join our fast-paced, high-quality hospital team. We're passionate about advanced medicine, active learning, and creating an environment where team members can continue building their skills while supporting and mentoring others.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe and effective patient handling and restraint
- Support preventative care appointments and vaccine protocols
- Aid in emergency and surgical patient care, including IV catheter placement
- Obtain diagnostics including radiographs, phlebotomy, and laboratory sample collection
- Perform in-house laboratory testing and patient monitoring
- Maintain accurate medical records and patient documentation
- Serve as a mentor and positive resource for fellow team members
Requirements
- Previous veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience required
- LVT or CVT credentials strongly preferred
- Strong technical and patient care skills
- Excellent communication and client service abilities
- Confidence working in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Positive attitude and collaborative mindset
- Compassion for patients, clients, and coworkers
- Desire to continue learning and helping others grow professionally
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current certification as a Veterinary Technician (LVT) or Veterinary Assistant (CVT)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office

Pay
Negotiable and based on experience and licensure
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m.; rotating Saturday shifts required
