What You'll Do
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms and treatment areas
- Gather patient histories and perform physical assessments
- Practice safe and effective feline-friendly handling and restraint techniques
- Educate clients regarding preventive care, treatments, and follow-up instructions
- Monitor surgical and anesthetic patients
- Perform dental prophylaxis procedures and obtain dental radiographs
- Obtain diagnostics including radiographs, blood samples, laboratory samples, and in-house laboratory testing
- Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation
- Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients and team members
- Support daily hospital operations while providing exceptional patient care
What Our Veterinary Technicians Bring
- Previous Veterinary Technician experience required
- Strong technical skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of feline preventive care and vaccination protocols
- Experience with anesthesia monitoring and dental procedures preferred
- Excellent communication and client education skills
