About the role

You’ll play an important role in pets’ lives by providing end-to-end care for our precious patients. Your life-changing work will range from the hands-on care of facilitating outpatient treatments and performing laboratory tests, to support services including intake and discharging patients. The success of your patients’ care matters to you, and your success matters to us.

Responsibilities

  • Support veterinarians to ensure quality veterinary care, advocate for pets, and educate clients.
  • Communicate with clients about individualized pet health concerns and offer guidance on Thrive Membership options, medications, and additional treatments.
  • Assist with surgeries and procedures in accordance with your state's Veterinary Practice Act outlined for credentialed veterinary technicians.
  • Obtain relevant health history and information from clients and maintain medical charts.
  • Use safe restraining techniques, follow standard protocols, and sustain clean, sterile, organized treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician (direct patient care)

CVT/RVT/LVT (active and current) preferred

Superior/advanced technical skills

Must have surgical, anesthesia, and dental experience

Team player

Excellent communication and organization skills

Pay

$1000 Sign-on Bonus

Schedule

4-day work week, 7:30am–5:30pm (no weekends)
