All Valley Pet Clinic at Federal Way is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join our growing team!
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture for phlebotomy and catheter placement
- Obtain laboratory sample collection
- Perform diagnostic imaging
- Anesthesia Monitoring
- Administer vaccines and medications
- Fill prescriptions
- Communicate with and educate clients
- Maintain a clean and sanitized environment
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements
- Previous veterinary experience in a nursing role
- Surgical skills required
- Commitment to continued educational development and growth
- Active listening, critical thinking, complex problem solving, time management, judgment and decision-making skills
- Professional and friendly demeanor with staff and clients
