What You’ll Do As a Veterinary Technician, you’ll play a hands-on role in improving and saving pets’ lives every day by: Assisting veterinarians with exams, treatments, surgeries, and proceduresPlacing IV catheters and performing blood draws and IV, IM, and SQ injectionsMonitoring anesthesia and utilizing diagnostic and monitoring equipmentSupporting patient flow through admissions, treatments, and dischargesEducating clients on individualized pet care, medications, and treatment plansMaintaining accurate, thorough medical recordsPracticing safe restraint techniques and maintaining clean, organized treatment areasMentoring and supporting fellow team members What We’re Looking For Required Experience & Skills Minimum 2 years of hands-on veterinary technician or assistant experienceProficiency with IV catheter placement, bloodwork, and injectionsExperience monitoring anesthesiaStrong teamwork and communication skillsA passion for empathetic, high-quality veterinary medicine You’ll Thrive Here If You Are Positive, kind, and dependableMotivated to grow professionallyCommitted to collaboration and patient advocacy You’ll Grow with Us Skills Here, you can grow your career as best fits you through access to comprehensive learning and skillset programs.
