About the role
Ironwood Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time Veterinary Technician to join their team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in San Tan Valley, AZ.
Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end care for pets, including facilitating outpatient treatments and performing laboratory tests.
- Support services such as admitting and discharging patients.
- Play an important role in pets' lives by offering hands-on care.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician (direct patient care).
- CVT/RVT/LVT (active and current) strongly preferred.
- Superior/advanced technical skills.
- Strong anesthesia skills (obtaining Blood pressure, ECG, Sp02, and ETC02 and integrating clinical signs with disease processes).
- Possesses a positive work attitude.
- Self-motivated.
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
