About the role

Ironwood Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time Veterinary Technician to join their team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in San Tan Valley, AZ.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end care for pets, including facilitating outpatient treatments and performing laboratory tests.
• Support services such as admitting and discharging patients.
• Play an important role in pets' lives by offering hands-on care.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician (direct patient care).
• CVT/RVT/LVT (active and current) strongly preferred.
• Superior/advanced technical skills.
• Strong anesthesia skills (obtaining Blood pressure, ECG, Sp02, and ETC02 and integrating clinical signs with disease processes).
• Possesses a positive work attitude.
• Self-motivated.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
