About the role

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with veterinarians and other veterinary technicians to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Perform diagnostic tests and assist in surgeries under the supervision of licensed veterinarians.
• Educate pet owners on proper pet care and health management.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Ensure a positive and stress-free environment for both pets and clients.

Requirements

• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT), Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), or Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) in Utah.
• At least 3 years of experience in surgery, diagnostics, and anesthesia.
• Strong communication skills and ability to educate pet owners effectively.
• Passion for veterinary medicine and a commitment to providing exceptional care.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with Fear-Free practices and low-stress handling techniques.
• No on-call or overnight shifts required.
