About the role

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with veterinarians and other healthcare providers to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of licensed veterinarians.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Assist in surgical procedures and monitor patient recovery.
  • Educate pet owners on proper pet care and disease prevention.
  • Document patient care activities and maintain accurate medical records.

Requirements

  • Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT), Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), or Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) in Utah.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in surgery, diagnostics, and anesthesia.
  • Strong communication skills, particularly in educating pet owners.
  • Passion for veterinary medicine and a desire to contribute to its evolution.

Qualifications

  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Experience with Fear-Free practices and low-stress handling.
