Responsibilities May Include Preparing patients for surgery, dentistry, and medical proceduresAssisting veterinarians with surgical proceduresMonitoring anesthesia and supporting patients throughout anesthesia and recoveryPerforming dental cleanings and dental radiographsProviding pre-operative and post-operative patient careMaintaining sterile surgical environments and properly handling surgical instrumentsMonitoring hospitalized patients and providing nursing carePerforming treatments and following veterinary treatment plansAssisting veterinarians during appointments and examinationsCollecting and processing laboratory samplesSupporting diagnostic procedures and laboratory workMaintaining accurate medical records and treatment documentationEducating clients on routine treatment and home-care instructions as directed by the veterinarianMaintaining clean, organized, and properly stocked treatment and surgical areasWorking collaboratively with veterinarians, veterinary assistants, client service representatives, and other members of the hospital team What We're Looking For We are seeking a credentialed Veterinary Technician, including: Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT)Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT)Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)Equivalent state-recognized veterinary technician credential New graduates or veterinary technicians who are eligible for credentialing may also be considered, with mentorship available.
