About the role
Come join a dynamic team of veterinarians and technicians at Carson Valley Veterinary Hospital. Our hospital is expanding its services and we are seeking a skilled Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to contribute to our mission.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient nursing care
- Monitor anesthesia and assist with surgery
- Perform laboratory testing and diagnostics
- Administer medications and treatments
- Support urgent care and medical cases
- Educate clients and maintain accurate medical records
- Collaborate with veterinarians and support staff to deliver outstanding patient care
Requirements
- Current Nevada Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) credential
- Strong anesthesia, surgical, and nursing skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Passion for high-quality medicine and patient care
What We're Looking For
- Full-time opportunity
- Four 10-hour shifts or three 12-hour shifts available
- Flexible scheduling options based on department needs and preferences
- Weekend rotations to ensure work-life balance
- Later shift opportunities including urgent care support
