Responsibilities
- Venipuncture and blood collection
- IV catheter placement
- Digital radiology
- Ultrasound assistance
- Anesthesia monitoring
- Surgical preparation and assistance
- Patient recovery and post-operative monitoring
- Physical examinations and patient assessments
- In-house laboratory testing
- Compassionate nursing care for hospitalized patients
- Client education and communication
- Tech appointments
- General treatment and nursing support
- Additional duties based on patient needs and experience
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of veterinary technician experience preferred
- Recent experience in a small animal veterinary hospital required
- Wisconsin Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) license preferred but not required
- New graduates with strong technical skills are encouraged to apply
