Veterinary Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Credentialed Veterinary Technician or highly skilled Veterinary Assistant with anesthesia and surgical experience to join our growing surgical team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures under the supervision of a veterinarian
• Administer anesthesia and monitor patient recovery
• Perform routine surgical tasks and assist with post-operative care
• Provide support during dental procedures and other clinical services
• Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure smooth operation of the clinic

Requirements

• Credential as a Veterinary Technician or equivalent experience
• Experience with anesthesia and surgical procedures
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Technology preferred
• Current certification as a Veterinary Technician
• Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and pharmacology

• Proficiency in using veterinary equipment and software
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently
