About the role
We're seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) or an experienced assistant with at least 2 years of experience in general practice. You should be reliable, passionate, and seasoned in inpatient and outpatient care, including phlebotomy, radiology, surgical prep, anesthesia, and recovery. You also need experience with dentistry and dental radiographs, client education, and team collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Handle "see-it-today" cases with efficiency and empathy
- Support the doctors in providing comprehensive care to patients
- Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure smooth operations
- Communicate clearly with clients to provide excellent service
- Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education
Requirements
- Current LVT license or equivalent certification
- At least 2 years of experience in general practice
- Experience with phlebotomy, radiology, surgical prep, anesthesia, and recovery
- Knowledge of dentistry and dental radiographs
- Strong client education and team collaboration skills
