Veterinary Technician

Nassau Veterinary Clinic is seeking an experienced and compassionate Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our well-established practice serving pets and families throughout the community. Responsibilities

• Collecting laboratory samples and running diagnostics
• Placing IV catheters and performing venipuncture
• Monitoring anesthesia and assisting with procedures
• Taking dental and full-body radiographs
• Administering medications and vaccines
• Providing client education and discharge instructions
• Supporting patient treatments and nursing care

Requirements

• Active New York State Veterinary Technician License
• Strong technical and anesthesia skills
• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment
• Excellent communication and client service abilities
• Passion for patient care and continued learning

Pay

$22–$30/hour depending on experience

Schedule

This is a full-time position with a consistent weekly schedule and rotating Saturday coverage every other weekend. The hospital values work-life balance and works closely with team members to maintain dependable scheduling.
