About the Role

Sequist Animal Hospital in Morristown, Vermont offers a scenic Green Mountain setting with year‑round outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, fishing, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, skiing, and snowboarding. The team works Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm with a four‑day work week, meaning no weekends or late‑night shifts, emphasizing work‑life balance.

Responsibilities

• Assisting veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures
• Understanding of medical terminology and products
• Safe and fear‑free animal restraint/handling
• Administering medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed
• Running lab diagnostics
• Radiology techniques (including dental)
• Phlebotomy skills / catheter placement
• Appropriate sterilization of hospital and equipment
• Providing client education through effective communication
• Anesthesia monitoring (pre‑ and post‑op)
• Machine maintenance
• Appropriate record keeping

Pay

Pay range is based on experience and certifications, ranging from $20.00 to $25.00 per hour (may vary with experience). A sign‑on bonus of $1,000.00 is offered for surgical experience.
