Veterinary Technician

About the Role

Our hospital is seeking a Full‑Time Veterinary Technician to help provide outstanding patient care and client service in a fast‑paced, multi‑doctor animal hospital.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians in the care of animals.
• Restrain animals during initial examinations when necessary.
• Stock examination and surgery rooms with supplies.
• Sterilize tools and ensure equipment is in working order.
• Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, anesthesia administration and monitoring.
• Conduct dental prophylaxis and radiography.
• Administer medications and perform laboratory analysis.
• Provide client education and communicate with pet owners.
• Update patient files accurately.

Requirements

• Current state licensure in good standing for Veterinary Technician roles (or related veterinary experience).
• Ability to lift 40 + lb.
• Regular on‑site presence is essential to support patient care and collaborate with clinical teams.
• Flexible schedule, including weekend availability.
• Strong multitasking ability in a hands‑on environment.
