About the role
We are seeking an organized, compassionate, and service-oriented Veterinary Technician to join our awesome team.
Responsibilities
- Rooming patients
- Absorb and assist in surgery
- Client education
- Properly handle and restrain animals
- Draw blood and run bloodwork
- Familiar with x-ray and proper positioning
- Place IV catheters
- Use laboratory equipment
- Positive team-player attitude
Requirements
- Competent and comfortable rooming patients
- Working knowledge of standard industry tools and equipment
- Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare
- Possess a passion for working with animals and their owners
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Team player with the excitement to continue to learn
Qualifications
- Veterinary technician experience
- Working knowledge of standard industry tools and equipment
