About the role
VCA Santa Margarita Animal Hospital is looking for an experienced and skilled Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team full-time! Our primary care practice is in the heart of the beautiful city of Rancho Santa Margarita. As a three-doctor hospital, we offer wellness and sick visits, general surgery and dentistry, in-house laboratory and radiology, and reference laboratory services. Located at 30052 Santa Margarita Pkwy, Rancho Santa Margarita, CA 92688. We are looking for a qualified candidate to join our amazing team where we focus on patient care and the client experience.
Responsibilities
- Anesthesia Induction and Monitoring
- Surgery prep and Assisting
- Dental Scaling, Cleaning, Polishing & Radiographs
- Patient Recovery
- Animal Restraint
- Subcutaneous, Intramuscular, and Intravenous injections
- Administering Medications & Subcutaneous Fluids
- Venipuncture and IV Catheterization
- Technician Appointments
- Filling Prescriptions
- Diagnostic Radiographs
- Monitoring Hospitalized Patients
- Client Communication

$25 - $29 per hour
Schedule
Full-Time, Five days a week including 1 weekend day a week
