Veterinary Surgeon - No Sole charge or OOH!

About the role

Vets4Pets Fort Kinnaird is a busy, established practice with a friendly, collaborative team, strong clinical support and a healthy dose of humour. The surgery is expanding significantly in 2027, creating more space to grow the team and broaden clinical services. The team has around 60 years of veterinary experience and offers standard 25‑minute consultations with protected diary gaps for calls, catch‑up and case management. Everyone is welcome regardless of background; we value kindness, capability, professionalism and team spirit.

Requirements

• Solid all‑round vet with strong clinical and communication skills
• Friendly, mature and collaborative
• Proactive and comfortable taking initiative
• Happy to contribute ideas and solutions
• Willing to work within established clinic systems
• Keen to grow with the practice
• Enjoys being part of a team and having a laugh
• Additional clinical interests or skills that could help broaden services are a bonus

Pay

Up to £60,000 DOE (full‑time equivalent)

Schedule

Work‑life balance built into the rota: longer working days and a predictable rolling rota mean more full days away from work. Typical week pattern:

• Week 1: 3 long days (08:30–19:30) plus weekend Saturday 09:00–18:00, Sunday 10:00–16:00
• Week 2: 3 long weekdays (08:30–19:30)
• Week 3: 4 long weekdays (08:30–19:30)
• The clinic closes at 19:00 on weekdays, giving vets protected time to catch up before heading home.
