About the role

Puget Sound Veterinary Specialty & Emergency (PSVS) is looking to welcome a second Veterinary Surgeon to our Specialty and Emergency Hospital on the Olympic Peninsula. We provide referral and emergency services to much of the Gig Harbor/Tacoma area. Our specialties include Surgery, Neurology, Oncology and Internal Medicine. The fully equipped and staffed ER and ICU will help you to manage all your cases to the highest standard.

Responsibilities

• Manage surgical cases to the highest standard using fully equipped ER and ICU facilities
• Participate in daily morning case rounds for continuous learning
• Engage in regular continuing education offerings
• Promote and maintain an outstanding hospital culture
• Collaborate with a skilled group of specialists and ER colleagues
• Participate in community outreach

Requirements

• Collaborative and self-motivated

• Willing to promote and maintain an outstanding hospital culture
• Washington State veterinary license (or ability to obtain)
• DEA license (or ability to obtain)
