About the role
We are seeking a Veterinary Surgeon (DVM) to perform high-quality, high-volume spay/neuter surgeries and a range of soft-tissue procedures in Delaware, OH.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality, high-volume spay/neuter surgeries for dogs and cats.
- Independently perform soft tissue surgeries including:
- Mass & foreign body surgeries
- Pyometra surgeries
- Enucleations
- Gastropexies
- Cystotomies
- Other routine soft tissue procedures
- Maintain excellent standards of anesthesia, patient safety, pain management, and post-operative care.
- Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to provide outstanding patient care.
- Assist with limited drop-off patient appointments when needed.
- Maintain accurate medical records and follow veterinary best practices.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent.
- Active Ohio veterinary license (or eligibility).
- Previous surgical experience is strongly preferred.
- High-Quality High-Volume Spay/Neuter (HQHVSN) experience is preferred.
- Candidates without HQHVSN training must be willing to complete employer-supported surgical training.
- Experience performing soft tissue surgeries independently is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and surgical decision-making skills.
- Recent graduates may be considered on a case-by-case basis; however, candidates with prior surgical experience are strongly preferred.

Pay
Competitive base pay starting around $120K for new graduates or candidates with limited surgical experience.
