Veterinary Surgeon
About the role
Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in Hillsborough, NJ, is seeking a part-time surgeon to join our growing, compassionate team of veterinary professionals. In our state-of-the-art facility, you'll work alongside specialists in Emergency & Critical Care and Cardiology, as well as collaborate with our full-time surgeon and experts in our Red Bank - Tinton Falls and Mount Laurel locations.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with specialists in Emergency & Critical Care and Cardiology
- Work alongside a full-time surgeon and experts in Red Bank - Tinton Falls and Mount Laurel locations
- Utilize state-of-the-art technology including a 16-slice CT, digital radiography, ultrasound, telemetry, two advanced surgery suites, and seven exam rooms
- Contribute to a positive, healthy, and collaborative work environment prioritizing the well-being of both patients and team members

Requirements
- Experience as a surgical specialist
- Knowledge of state-of-the-art veterinary surgical techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to patient care
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
- Current license to practice veterinary medicine in New Jersey
- Board certification in veterinary surgery preferred

Pay
Compensation for this part-time position is structured as a base salary or production-based model—whichever is greater. Base salary ranges from $200,000 to $250,000 commensurate with experience and qualifications.
