The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and is dedicated to practicing the highest quality of emergency medicine and critical care. The recruited candidate will join the MedVet Emergency Medicine Team, which treats over 100,000 patients annually.

Responsibilities

• Treatment of over 100,000 patients annually
• Collaboration with Anesthesia, Surgery, Internal Medicine, and Critical Care specialists
• Ability to consult with other MedVet hospitals in the region for specialty care
• Supportive on-call schedule and expectations for a specialty service

Requirements

• Must be a Veterinary Surgeon or have completed surgical residency training
• Experience in emergency medicine and critical care
• AAHA accreditation preferred

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in Kentucky
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
