About the role

Since 2010, VetMED has been a leader in advanced veterinary medicine, fostering collaboration among specialists and emergency clinicians. As part of our growing Surgery team, you'll work alongside our on-site Dermatology service, Critical Care, and a busy 24/7 Emergency team. The hospital is led by an on-site Assistant Medical Director (DACVECC), providing experienced clinical leadership and cultivating a collaborative, team-oriented culture focused on exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with specialists and surgeons within the Ethos Veterinary Health network
  • Provide advanced surgical services in a state-of-the-art facility
  • Work closely with a supportive team of technicians and support staff
  • Participate in a robust continuing education program

Requirements

  • Board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Surgeon
  • Experience in advanced surgical procedures
  • Strong clinical skills and a passion for veterinary medicine
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
  • Current licensure to practice veterinary medicine in Arizona
  • Passing scores on relevant board examinations

Skills

  • Advanced surgical techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in medical terminology and protocols
  • Ability to manage a high volume of cases efficiently

Pay
