Veterinary Surgeon

About the role

Dallas Veterinary Surgical Center (DVSC) is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained small animal surgeon to join their growing team. DVSC is part of Ethos Veterinary Health, a network of over 140 specialty and emergency hospitals across North America.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with two highly skilled surgeons at DVSC’s home hospital
• Participate in a network of 13 DVSC surgeons across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex
• Work closely with emergency and internal medicine teams in a multi-specialty environment
• Practice at the highest level with support from an experienced and respected team

Requirements

• Board-certified or residency-trained in small animal surgery
• Experience in general small animal surgery
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in Texas
• Passing scores on the AVMA-accredited small animal surgery examination

Pay

Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.
