Veterinary Surgeon
The Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon to join our dynamic team at Animal Clinic Northview. Our ideal candidate will bring a passion for patient care and a commitment to continuous learning.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced surgical care of the highest quality, focusing on soft tissue and orthopedic cases
- Work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with a diverse caseload
- Calmly handle challenging surgical and perioperative situations
- Communicate effectively with clients and collaborate on patient care
- Contribute to the growth of our surgical services and the overall quality of care provided
Requirements
- Compassionate and dedicated to providing exceptional surgical care
- Skilled in soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, with advanced training or residency completion preferred
- Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Confident in handling challenging surgical and perioperative situations
- Able to communicate effectively with clients and contribute to collaborative patient care
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA-accredited institution
- Current licensure to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Ohio
- Experience in both soft tissue and orthopedic surgery
- Knowledge of and experience with the facilities and equipment at Animal Clinic Northview
