About the role
The Pet Stop is seeking a Board-Certified Surgeon or Residency Trained Veterinarian to lead the surgical department and provide exceptional veterinary care and client service in Alaska.
Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a high-performing surgical team
- Select equipment, team, and systems to deliver exceptional care
- Provide comprehensive surgical services including diagnostic ultrasound and endoscopy
- Serve dogs, cats, and a handful of exotics
- Embrace a servant-leadership philosophy recognizing the value each team member brings
Requirements
- Board-Certified Surgeon or Residency Trained Veterinarian
- Experience in providing comprehensive surgical services
- Ability to lead and inspire a high-performing team
- Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to shape a department from the ground up
Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a busy surgical caseload
- Passionate about veterinary medicine and client service

- Compensation package including a starting base salary up to $300,000, monthly production with no-negative accrual, and sign-on bonus
