Veterinary Surgeon - Alaska

About the role

The Pet Stop is seeking a Board-Certified Surgeon or Residency Trained Veterinarian to lead the surgical department and provide exceptional veterinary care and client service in Alaska.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a high-performing surgical team
• Select equipment, team, and systems to deliver exceptional care
• Provide comprehensive surgical services including diagnostic ultrasound and endoscopy
• Serve dogs, cats, and a handful of exotics
• Embrace a servant-leadership philosophy recognizing the value each team member brings

Requirements

• Board-Certified Surgeon or Residency Trained Veterinarian
• Experience in providing comprehensive surgical services
• Ability to lead and inspire a high-performing team
• Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to shape a department from the ground up

Qualifications

• Strong clinical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage a busy surgical caseload
• Passionate about veterinary medicine and client service

• Compensation package including a starting base salary up to $300,000, monthly production with no-negative accrual, and sign-on bonus
