Veterinary Support Team and Animal Care Companion - Part Tim 410

Job Duties

• Clean and disinfect kennels, cages, and common areas to maintain a sanitary environment.
• Wash and sanitize food and water bowls.
• Launder bedding and towels used by the animals.
• Walk, exercise, and play with animals to provide physical activity and mental stimulation.
• Greeting and assisting clients dropping off or picking up their pets.
• Provide updates to pet owners on their animal’s condition and behavior during their stay.

Requirements

• MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR EVENING AND WEEKEND SHIFTS
• 3 part time positions available

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs without restriction.
• Must be comfortable working around potentially reactive animals.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to Walk, Stoop, Reach, Kneel, and Run as needed.
• Must be comfortable cleaning/scrubbing the kennels multiple times daily
