BluePearl Pet Hospital in Charlestown, MA is seeking a dedicated Sterile Supply Assistant to join our Surgery team.

- Week day shifts
Pay
- $20.00 - $27.00 / hour
- This pay band is dependent on experience and advancement through our competency assessment tool.
Requirements
- Must have prior sterile pack experience
- Self-motivated, positive attitude
- Organized and focused on maintaining high-quality instruments and patient care through sterile preparation
Responsibilities
- Prepare instruments and operating room for surgery
- Troubleshoot and remove faulty equipment from service to submit for repair or replacement
- Maintain appropriate quantities of surgical supplies and equipment
- Decontaminate and clean operating rooms, sterile supply room, and equipment according to established procedures
- Clean and sterilize instruments and wrap packs
- Serve as a resource/reference to surgical team with regards to surgical equipment
