Quality Control Lab Assistant

About the role

The Quality Control Lab Assistant supports laboratory operations, product quality assurance, and production processes. This hands-on position is responsible for maintaining sample organization, assisting with testing preparation, ensuring accurate documentation, and helping to uphold cleanliness and efficiency within the lab and production environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sample organization
• Assist with testing preparation
• Ensure accurate documentation
• Help uphold cleanliness and efficiency within the lab and production environment
• Oversee batch retain sample management
• Maintain the finished product retention sample program (includes operating a pallet jack)
• Conduct flavor retrieval and testing
• Prepare water ice and support syrup sensory setup
• Prepare weight sheets for upcoming production runs
• Maintain lab cleanliness and assist with general housekeeping duties and supplies
• Support production by verifying floor scales to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Cross-train on basic QC tasks to provide coverage as needed, including data entry, sample preparation for viscosity testing, bake tests, & outbound product quality checks

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and maintain accurate records
• Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
