Anticipated Schedule

This is a full-time position with the following schedule:

  • Monday – Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM
  • Saturday: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
  • Some holidays are required

Compensation

Pay range: $21 to $27 per hour, commensurate with experience

Responsibilities

  • Accurately handle and care for instruments appropriately, including appropriate selection of cleaning agents, lubricants, examination of function, identification and assembly and preparation for sterilization
  • Operate steam and ethylene oxide sterilization equipment including routine cleaning and maintenance
  • Responsible and accountable for maintaining aseptic technique with instrumentation and sterile field
  • Perform regularly scheduled sterility control checks and re-sterilize implants and inventory as needed
  • Perform regularly scheduled inventory checks in OR rooms and backstock and keep organized list of inventory needs
  • Cleaning of OR rooms, equipment and surfaces following hospital cleaning protocols
  • Restock all necessary OR room supplies, instrumentation and inventory in an organized manner while ensuring the sterility of equipment

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting and collaborate as a team
  • Excellent communication skills with team members
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Basic understanding of surgical implementation
  • Perform general physical activities that require bending, standing, stooping, moving room to room
