Veterinary Receptionist Part-Time Customer Service- Evenings/afternoon
About the role
We’re looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our team part-time. As the first and last point of contact, our reception team plays a vital role in creating a positive, seamless experience for both clients and their pets. At Advanced Veterinary Care of Vestavia, we pride ourselves on being a locally owned, all-in-one veterinary clinic where pets feel safe, people feel heard, and our team works together to provide exceptional care.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients and pets with a warm, welcoming attitude
- Answer phones and assist with appointment scheduling
- Check patients in and out accurately and efficiently
- Communicate clearly with doctors, technicians, and team members
- Process payments and maintain accurate records
- Help keep the front desk organized and running smoothly
Requirements
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude
- Reliability and strong attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Veterinary or medical office experience is a plus, but not required
Schedule
We are seeking a team member who can work 2–4 days per week, with preferred availability from 3:00 PM–6:00 PM. Scheduling is flexible; however, candidates must be available from 3:00 PM–6:00 PM at least two evenings each week, including Thursday evenings. Availability from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM one Saturday per month is also preferred.
