Veterinary Receptionist
Key Responsibilities
- Greet clients and their pets, complete the appointment sign-in process, confirm appointment details, and escort clients to exam rooms.
- Ensure accurate service and product sales accounting, handle payments, process credit/debit cards, and schedule future appointments.
- Answer client calls for appointments, hospital inquiries, medication refills, and other requests. Make outbound calls for appointment reminders and follow-ups.
- Understand common vaccination protocols, basic lab tests, common diseases, veterinary terminology, and pet behavior.
- Aid in maintaining cleanliness and organization to ensure a positive client experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working with animals is required. Candidates must have experience in a veterinary hospital, animal kennel, daycare, grooming facility, or a similar animal care environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to maintain a calm, professional, and positive demeanor.

Pay
$16.00 - $19.00 per hour, determined by the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications.
Schedule
This full-time position. Our hospital is open Monday– Friday from 8:00 AM–7:00 PM, and two Saturdays per month from 8:00 AM–1:00 PM. The ideal candidate will have a flexible schedule and work approximately 8-hour shifts, with the option of a 4- or 5-day work week.
