Veterinary Receptionist

About the role

Riverside Animal Hospital is a full-service veterinary hospital in Green Bay, Wisconsin, committed to responsible pet ownership, preventive health care, and educational opportunities for clients. The practice has seven doctors and continues to grow. Veterinary Receptionists play an integral role in giving every client a great experience through excellent communication and customer service, helping keep the busy hospital running smoothly from the moment clients walk in.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and their pets warmly
• Answer phones and provide information to clients
• Check clients and patients in and out
• Work with electronic medical records
• Support the team with a variety of general administrative tasks
• Deliver excellent communication and customer service with every interaction

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Customer service or receptionist experience preferred
• Animal handling experience (volunteering, grooming, or boarding) is a plus
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Motivated, detail-oriented approach
• Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
• Flexible availability
• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods

Schedule

Full-time; 4 full days or 3 days and 2 half days per week, no weekends.

Pay

Negotiable and based on experience.
